2020 Sufficiently Whelming
Sauvignon Blanc planted in the 40s with some Chardonay from Redwood Valley.
The Sauvignon here useually gets a bit of Botrytis but there was none in this vintage. It would have been a great candidate for some maceration in hindsight. Direct press. Tank ferment. barrel aged.
The first bottling after 10 months was in heavier 26mm cap bottles. The 2nd bottling in lighter 29mm cap bottles was 23 months in barrel and just Sav Blanc.
