2019 Sapphires
Feliz Creek Sauvignon Blanc. Old vines in decline. Organic by neglect. In a Ravine connecting Hopland to the coast. A special site that I stopped working with after 2021.
Destemmed and macerated for 7 days. Aged in barrel for almost a year. Riper, more oxidative, and with a little bit more brett marking than the 2018 and 2020.
2025 notes: These are all still aging well, but 2019 seems to be peaking a bit sooner.
